• So many want to come on their terms, and others what to bow before Jesus and submit to Him. Some want to get away with their sin. Others want to get away from their sin. Some will argue that faith is a growing process: New Disciples are not perfect right from the starting line. And this is absolutely true. But someone who has received the life of Christ; made Jesus the absolute Lord of their life; may not be perfect, but there is a driving desire to be perfect. Your heart and desires change and your priorities change. As Tozer has said, “The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking, still making little forward progress is because they haven’t yet come to the end of themselves. We are still trying to give orders, and interfering with God’s work within us. ” ~N.H. Hoekes
